If so, you can assess the competition objectively in a number of ways - make sure that a business plan has a professional structure - a well written 1-2 page executive summary would be a key to assess the overall quality of the plan - assess the background of the team. do they have right experience, qualification? are they dedicated full time, part-time? etc. obviously, there are many factors that come in play depending on the industry you are in. hope this helps!
