I asked my girlfriend what I should be doing, how I could get my head in the right space. This is what she helped me realise accept:
- Work helps pay my way and provides financial freedom to express myself and my ideas.
- My business ideas are pretty sustainable, but I don’t have any real current business, only opportunities.
- I can follow these opportunities and see what becomes of them without leaving my current job.
- My job also provides training, which will be beneficial in future careers.
So, I should get my head around staying. And make something of my time off! I’m not going anywhere, even if it seems like a waste of time (sometimes)… there is real benefit in staying. So I will.
